VISION THERAPIST POSITION We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Vision Therapist to support children and families through our in-office vision therapy programs. No prior vision therapy experience is required as we provide full training and certification for the right candidate. What You'll Do: - Work 1-on-1 with therapy patients under the guidance of the Optometrist - Deliver individualized vision therapy activities focused on binocular vision, eye tracking, visual processing, and more. - Track progress, document session notes, and communicate updates to the supervising doctor. - Support, encourage, and coach patients through their therapy activities. - Assist with therapy room setup, materials, and general clinic organization. What We’re Looking For: - Completion of high school and some college or university education. - Preferred backgrounds: Early Childhood Education (ECE), kinesiology, psychology, or a healthcare-related field. - A natural ability to work patiently with children. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Reliable, organized, and able to work independently after training. - Previous vision therapy experience is a bonus, but not required. Position Details: - Part-time position - Starting schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays (flexible days/hours as the program grows). - Compensation: Starting at $20/hour, with increases based on experience and completion of training/certification. - Training: Comprehensive on-the-job training and certification provided
