BINOCULAR VISION
ASSESSMENT
Learn how your eyes and brain work together to improve your quality of life.
Binocular vision assessments evaluate binocular vision and visual perceptual skills that can impact people of all ages. Binocular vision skills are how the eyes work together as a team, while visual perceptual skills are how the brain understands what the eyes see. Sometimes there can be a mismatch in the communication between the eyes and the brain, which leads to visual symptoms negatively impacting one's ability to learn, work, or quality of life.
Patients of all ages with the following conditions would benefit from a binocular vision assessment:
-
Amblyopia or Strabismus (lazy eye)
-
Learning or Behavioural Disorders (ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia)
-
Developmental Disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy)

Acquired Brain Injury (concussion, stroke)
